The goal of this website is to tell a story of the history of The Rockaways through the use of photos. I have been collecting photos and postcards for over ten years and am happy to share them with you through this website. Some of the photos are of better quality than others but can still be interpreted on several levels. Most of the photos are from my personal collection while others were found on the internet or via Google Image Search, which often does not list the photographer or source of the image. If you took a photo and you did not receive credit below, please contact us and we would be happy to add you to the credits.
